Voluma Procedure

If you consider Voluma injections, your healthcare provider will set up a consultation. They will talk with you about your aging concerns and determine if Juvederm Voluma will help you achieve your goals.

The doctor will mark your face with a pen to target the correct areas during the session. Then, they will clean the treatment areas and apply topical anesthetic to reduce discomfort when the filler is injected.

Voluma Recovery

Recovery time is negligible as is swelling and bruising. You will need to avoid alcohol and tobacco products for a few days as you recover.

Also, avoid direct sunlight for three or four days because it can cause swelling and bruising. If you need to be in the sun, wear SPF30 sunscreen or better.

Playing sports, jogging, hot yoga and other strenuous activities should be avoided for the first week.
